Some of our services include:

RFC

Reservation for College (RFC) is a standards-based instructional program in college preparation and educational achievement for students in the fourth-sixth grade and their families. It is also a tool for motivating teachers and for enabling principals to create a college-going culture at their schools.

CAHSEE

CAHSEE on Target was designed to help high school students who have failed, or are in danger of failing, the math and/or English Language Arts sections of the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE). CAHSEE on Target materials can be adapted to meet the needs of a wide range of learning communities, including school-based CAHSEE prep classes, after-school programs, summer academies, and community-based learning centers.

Family Educational Forum

The Family Educational Forum helps create effective parent engagement at the school site level which is an important element in the success of any K-12 school site. The design of FEF provides a series of workshops to benefit parents understanding of college preparation which includes: advocacy, admissions, financial aid, study skills, etc.

Professional Development

Eligibility standards and competition for space in a four year institute continues to increase, and with that comes an increase in the demand for training and knowledge around college eligibility. Professional Development and Training opportunities in the following areas are available:

Research and Evaluation

Staff in the Technology, Research, Data and Evaluation (TREAD) have expertise in designing and implementing research projects; providing consultation and support for the evaluation of academic preparation programs; assisting in the development of surveys and/or assessment tools; developing and maintaining databases; and addressing technology needs of an office units, departments.
