Academic Preparation Programs and the Media

The Mission of the UC Davis Department of Academic Preparation Programs is to prepare and empower students to pursue a postsecondary education.

The Academic Preparation Programs

assure APP participants are well prepared, have information and access to post-secondary education;
increase the percentage of students who are eligible for post-secondary education;
support the application to institutes of higher education;
advocate for their college application choices; and,
encourage enrollment in postsecondary education.
