To improve the college going culture of Dixon.
To increase the number of students who are eligible and prepared for higher education and the workplace. Additionally, the partnership aims at introducing families and the community of Dixon to higher education opportunities. The partnership achieves its goals through a series of programs and activities, including intensive Summer Math Academies for high school students, year-round college awareness workshops and activities via UCOP’s College Going Initiative, parent workshops, family college campus visits, and through UC Davis’ Academic Preparation Programs.
